6th Grade Students have enjoyed their first week back on campus!
Message from Mr. McGuff:
Good morning, parents and guardians.
I have been reviewing all of our teacher’s classes and observing student and teacher interaction and student work. Generally speaking, the students who are participating in their live sessions and/or viewing the recorded sessions are doing well. I commend these students for their efforts, and I thank you, parents and guardians, for your help. However, we have a large population of students who are not completing any work, not joining live sessions, or watching the recorded lessons. This is an issue that I need all of you to help us correct. We desperately need you to make sure that your students are logging on Schoology and completing their work. First quarter is almost over, and many students have not completed any work. This will hurt their average for the rest of the year, and they are going to have to work much harder in order to catch up. Please talk to your children about the importance of making the most of their educational opportunities by utilizing the Schoology platform and logging in to complete work each and every day. Schoology is emailing every parent a progress report every Friday; if you have not been receiving one for your child pleases contact the school after you have checked your spam mail. If you are experiencing any trouble or issues that the school administration should know about, please do not hesitate to reach out to me.
It’s a great day to be a Shark!
Thanks ,
Jeremy McGuff
