Saturn nickname is The Ringed Planet. It is 886 million miles and 1,426 million kilometers from the Sun. Saturn is nine times bigger then Earth. Saturn has about 31 moons. One day on Saturn is 10 hours and 2 minutes. Saturn goes around the Sun once in 29 years.

Saturn is named after a Roman God of agriculture. Saturn is the second biggest planet after Jupiter. Saturn has the color blue. Its beautiful rings are 169,800 miles wide. The rings are held in place around Saturn by the moons that also orbit this large planet. The planet is cold and way colder then Earth. Saturn does have clouds and atmosphere. Saturn is a lightweight planet and it spins very fast.
