November Topic: Digital Detox
Have you ever entered a room and witnessed every single person looking at his or her phone? If so, you might feel ready for a digital detox. Creating personal boundaries around electronic communication is not just a good idea, it is essential for productivity. Establishing limits on how much time is spent in the digital environment (e.g. texting, on social media, gaming or instant messaging) can help improve both mood and motivation. Looking up from your cellphones is essential to connecting with others, and this session will help you put healthy parameters around a very modern workplace issue.
Upon completion of this on-demand webinar, participants will be able to:
- Learn when it's time for a digital detox
- Identify addictive symptoms
- Comprehend implications of digital overload and internet addiction
- Implement detox strategies and relaxation techniques
