Description
What it looks like.
The WW2 Memorial looks like 56 granite columns surrounding a pool. This pool is called the "Rainbow Pool". The 56 columns adorned with bronze, and the names of every state, district, and territory that sent its wreaths son and daughters to war. Each of the 4,048 gold stars on the memorial wall represents the 100 lives lost in the fight for freedom. The two towers celebrate the allied victories in the Atlantic and the Pacific. It's made of Kershaw Granite for South Carolina.

Why it's worth our admiration.
It's very worthy of our admiration. They could see their grandmother and grandfather if they were in the war. It shows the fallen soldiers of the war. People go there to show respect, not to play around. It has over 400,000 grave sites. Also, something I think about is what it would be like today if the men and the women didn't go out and risk their lives for freedom.
