Physiological Needs

Physiological Needs are the things you need for your body/self to survive. You have to accomplish this level before moving up on the pyramid.
Some examples are:
  • Sleep
  • Air
  • Shelter

Safety

Safety needs include things that make you feel safe where ever you are.
Examples include:
  • Protection from Elements
  • Freedom from Fear
  • Stability

Social Needs

Social needs give people a feeling of acceptance and that's why it's important.
Examples of social needs:
  • Friendship
  • Family and Affection
  • Intimacy

Self Esteem

Self Esteem is a desire to be accepted by others opinions.
Examples would be:
  • Compliments
  • Confidence in what you wear/look like
  • Feeling good about yourself all the time

Self actualization is finally being able to accept yourself for who you are.
Examples would be:
  • Confidence and happiness
  • Growing and learning
