WHS Distance Learning
2020 - 2021
Our mission is to create a positive and safe learning environment for ALL students that fosters engagement, creativity, and collaboration in a technology rich academic and supportive culture.
Instructional Models
In an effort to accommodate as many students as possible, WCS is providing families with an opportunity to earn credits completely virtually. Hatchet Virtual Academy is not the same as Distance Learning.

DISTANCE LEARNING
Distance Learning is the term used to describes those conditions outlined in the Reopening Plan as either YELLOW or RED. Distance Learning applies to those students who attend WHS in-person. Regular classroom instruction will continue to be delivered to those students if we have to change our status to either YELLOW or RED through Distance Learning. Distance Learning when we are YELLOW will be a combination of in-person instruction and eLearning. While Distance Learning while we are RED will be totally eLearning.
