North Side vs. Western Hills Scrimmage

Both teams seemed balanced. Both teams scored touchdowns. Competitive scrimmage.

Carter-Riverside vs. HSAA Scrimmage

The defense is ahead of the offense, but that is usually the case at the onset of the season. The Carter-Riv. player with his feet in the air was the hammer, the HSAA player was the nail. Coach Murray giving some instructions to his quarterback after a series.

OD Wyatt HS

For their first community service project of the year, Coach Zach Criss and his programs are sending shoes for orphans in Jamaica.

Head Volleyball Coach and Athletic Coordinator, Myran Strider, performed the honorary coin toss to kick off the 2021 Season.

Carter-Riverside hosts Dallas Sunset

Heights volleyball girls played in the championship in the Haltom tournament yesterday and got 2nd. We lost in the championship to Duncanville. The 2 teams took pictures together and displayed great sportsmanship throughout the match! Our Heights girls showed great heart!!

Dunbar HS

The Lady Wildcats won 3rd place in the Uplift Summit International Preparatory Tournament. #10 Ceyara Cox was named one of the all-tournament players.

FWISD Cross Country

Southwest HS

We had a great start to our first 5k run this pass Friday at the Kennedale Invitational with a 2nd place team finish. The 2nd place team finish could not have happened without Jose Guzman placing 1st, Boston Martinez placing 5th, Josh Garcia placing 10th, Roy Williams 24th and Abdullahi Mohamud placing 27th. These guys have been working hard all summer long with the addition of Julio Jaramillo, Lam Lam, Emmanuel Amera, Angel Garza and Daniel Salinas. We also had two lady raiders compete this Friday Ivett Rodrigue and Vallianna Deleon who both PR at the meet.

Fall tennis between Chisholm Trail vs. Paschal. Girls doubles, girls singles and boys doubles. New head coach (Mcgonagil) leading the way for Paschal tennis this year. Kids were competing.

The North Side Athletic Training Program has a total of 12 students who have been a HUGE help to our athletic program. Last weekend, they helped Doc Dula and Doc Esparza get 200 physicals completed without electricity. These kids are amazing!

Rosemont hosts Kirkpatrick @ South Hills HS

8th grader, Olwadarasimi “Mary” Aremu, served 18 straight points in the first game and then 10 straight in the 2nd.
