Teacher Appreciation Day is Tuesday, May 4th!
Help us celebrate our amazing EHS educators by wearing Blue and Gold and/or your EHS gear to school on 5/4 and 5/7. And, remember to thank your teachers :)
Wear Your College/University Colors Days
May 1st is the deadline for students to make a deposit at the college/university they're choosing to attend. To celebrate our seniors, the school counselors invite students AND faculty/staff to Wear Your College/University Colors Days on Monday May 3rd and Thursday May 6th! Find your old college gear, get creative and make a t-shirt, or just wear your school colors with pride.
Congratulations seniors!
AP Exams
AP exams will run daily from May 3-May 17 (except Thurs 5/13) at 8 am and 12 pm. Each exam will be in the Rink, except French and Spanish, which will be in the library computer lab. Accommodated exams will be located in the Library conference room.
Commemorating the 50th Graduating Class
Hello! My name is Grace and I am completing my senior capstone project to commemorate the 50th graduating class from this high school building.
I am creating a time capsule to be opened in 2071, the 100th graduating class from this building, in 50 years. Here are some prompts you may choose to write from, but feel free to write about anything you would like. They can be as long or short as you would like. You can send your entries to me at gallard@vt.ewsd.org. This is your last week to submit entries before I compile them into a binder. I am also opening up this opportunity to the teacher to submit entries. This is a great way to contribute to this school's history, and if you are in the area in 50 years, you will be able to read what you and your peers wrote 50 years ago. All high school students and teachers can submit entries for the time capsule. Please feel free to email me with any questions or concerns and I look forward to your entry.
Virtual Coffee House
The Music Department invites you to our virtual coffee house on Friday, May 7 at 7 p.m. Sign up to perform and sign up to attend by scanning the QR code on the flyer.
CCV Information for Seniors
It's not too late to apply to college for either full time or part time options. The Community College of Vermont has a couple options to get more information. CCV will host a zoom admission information session on May 12th at 1:00 p.m. Check this college visit calendar for the meeting information.
