Thank you!

We raised almost $11,000 for our PTO Fall Fundraiser and it's all thanks to you!

We cannot wait to put this money right back to our campus to improve our playgrounds, campus grounds, and support instructional materials for our classrooms.

Back to School Pep Rally

Last week was a great week and we finished celebrating the best part of Giesinger, our staff and students!

Mrs. O'Hagan and our staff planned an exciting afternoon to celebrate the hard work we have done this year with our common area and procedures on our campus. We even had some special appearances from the CHS Golden Girls and our very own mascot, Flaps!

Storybook Character Parade Wednesday at 8:30 am

We want to celebrate the love of reading for Read for a Better Life Day in CISD with a parade.

Students can dress up as their favorite Storybook Character and parade with us. (No scary costumes please). Dressing up is optional, loving reading is mandatory! :)

We invite our families to enjoy the parade along our back bus circle drive (map below). If you prefer to take the sidewalk, you can walk around the front of our campus and along White Oak Blvd. to the back bus circle.

We hope many of you are able to join us to read to our students throughout this day. If you are able, reach out to your child's teacher to see if there are available spots.

All reading visitors must check-in at the front office with a valid ID. You will be given a sticker name badge to wear when you are on our campus. Please wear this on top of your shirt visible by staff and students. When your visit is finished, please check out at the front office and turn in your name badge.

***Please note there will be a pause in the parade while the second half of the campus makes their way around to the back bus circle drive.

Parade Order of Appearance:

  • Front Office
  • Life Skills
  • 3rd Grade
  • 2nd Grade
  • 4th Grade
  • 1st Grade

CISD Bond 2023

At their Special Board Meeting on August 1, 2023, the Conroe ISD Board of Trustees unanimously voted to put four propositions on the November 7th ballot for a bond referendum. If voters approve Prop A and any combination of Props B, C, and/or D on November 7, there is a 2-cent anticipated tax rate increase to Conroe ISD residents in 2024-2025. Leading up to Election Day, you will continue to receive factual information about the upcoming bond. To learn more about Bond 2023, please visit www.conroeisd.net/bond or follow us on social media.

2023 ROBOTICS CONTEST

DATE: Saturday, November 4, 2023

TIME: 8:00 am

LOCATION:

McCullough Junior High

3800 S. Panther Creek Dr.

The Woodlands, Texas 77381

This contest is designed to offer students with an interest in STEM related fields the opportunity to compete against their peers in a themed challenge. Teams will design and use their robot (LEGO NXT, EV3, Spike Prime) to complete various tasks for points. This is a team competition for all students enrolled in Conroe ISD.

We welcome participation from each of the feeder zones within Conroe ISD. Due to space and time constraints the contest has been limited to 30 teams total. We have three divisions (Junior 3rd-5th grade, Intermediate 6th-8th grade, Senior 9th-12th grade) in the competition.

Additional information along with Applications of Interest Entry Button can be found below. All applications received will be compiled by division and selected at random.

We look forward to a great contest! We invite the public to come out and watch the Students and Robots take on the challenge in the Competition Gym on the McCullough Junior High campus!
