Important Notes
Patriot Day: Wednesday, 9/11, is an important day in our history. We encourage our school family to wear red, white, and blue in honor of our fallen heros and those who continue to serve our country and within our community. At school, we will recognize people close to us who selflessly serve on our behalf. We encourage you to identify people close to your families who also serve. Take a minute to call and give thanks or send a card to share your appreciation.
Webo Promise Scholars (Kindergarten Only): Kindergarten parents are encouraged to return their 529 paperwork so we can establish a college savings account for your child. Upon the completion of the kindergarten year, we make a $100 contribution to the account. We do not want anyone to miss out on this opportunity, so we will start contacting families without paperwork to set up individual appointments. If you have questions or need a 529 packet, please contact the school office.
School Calenar: Please check out our school website for updates to the school calendar. http://tes.weboschools.org/
eLearning Days: Please note that we will continue with eLearning Days this school year. We have 3 planned days on our school calendar. We will also use eLearning Days when we cannot get to school due to inclement weather. Our first planned eLearning Day is coming up on September 25. Students will not attend school this day. Teachers and staff will be present, participating in district-wide professional development. Look for student assignments to be posted in Canvas by 5PM on 9/24. Students or parents may contact teachers via Canvas with any questions about assignments. Teacher will hold office hours from 1:30-3:00 on 9/25. Students will have 5 school days to submit their work. Completion of work is required for the student to be considered 'present'. Any student who does not complete work will be marked absent. Students also receive completion points for their work, which will be posted in the gradebook upon the 5th day following the eLearning Day. Our school computer lab will be open from 12-3 during the eLearning Day for students who need access to a device for work completion. We will send out a registration link soon for students to participate in these lab hours.
If you have a kid who loves youtube videos and getting lost in their creativity, this would be a great resource for some after school activity. If you have a budding artist, let us know. Maybe we can find some space to display some original pieces throughout the year!
