In college, you may find that you have less class time and more outside of class work with a great deal of freedom and flexibility. How do you manage your time wisely and efficiently. There can be the many of reasons why we have difficulty remembering things and being organized, BUT all can be overcome with practice.
Making a Time Management Plan
Start with self: track & note all that you do in a week, look at time spent, look for patterns.
Set priorities and goals: that are positive, achievable, easily reduced (small goals within big goals).
Use a calendar/planner: list events and big dates.
Schedule: list daily activities, be flexible but schedule all.
Keeping Tabs on Time
Keep calendars and to-do lists in places where you will see it most often.
Commit to doing most necessary & important things first.
Review calendar every week to make sure you are sticking to it.
