What is Pop Art?
Pop Art is an art that expresses fun and excitment. The art is very colourful and based around real life things. For example this (left) is a piece of artwork by Roy Lichtenstein. He has taken an image from a comic strip and made it more colourful and exciting.
Pop Art began in the mid 1950s to early 1970s. Some people say it was a result of Expressionism.
