St. Luke Morning Announcements
ATTENDANCE
MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS: Wednesday, April 16
Congratulations on thriving in another week of e-learning! Please know that as we continue to progress through the nuances of extended remote learning, our passionate, dedicated teachers remain committed to supporting your students! They are learning right alongside us as they work to learn and master new online tools, to determine which tools, strategies and schedules are a best fit at each grade level, and to support your students through this. If your child has questions or even if you yourself are struggling with how to support your child, please reach out and let us know. Compassion and grace will be our driving forces through all of this as we continue to work to make the very best of an unforeseen situation.
Fridays remain our "catch-up day." We do ask that all assignments from each week are submitted by Friday to ensure that the teachers have the opportunity to determine how well the students are mastering this week's curriculum in order to drive their planning for the next week. Equally importantly, learning - even when it's done at home - is a sequential process. Your children need to practice this week's skills in order to be prepared to learn and succeed with next week's building blocks. Again, know that we are here for you! Please let your child's teacher know if there is an area where your family needs support and we will work with you to ensure that all of our Rams have the tools that they need to succeed. As Mrs. Nutter mentioned in her video last week's announcements, she is available to support your children's social and emotional needs during this time, as well. Mrs. Gillig is also available, misses your children dearly, and would be happy to provide support to your family.
Above all else, please know that each member of our very committed St. Luke staff continues to pray with and pray for each of our students and families!
Have a great day, everyone!
Mrs. Kissel
