We are excited to share the news of our Gaining Ground fundraising efforts!

Since Gaining Ground campaign was ultimately an entire conference accomplishment, please share with your members and families as you can!

God Blesses WLHS' Gaining Ground—Through gifts from generous supporters, Wisconsin Lutheran High School met its goal and received $1 million in cash gifts, by the January 31 deadline. The land acquisition is now in the final stages of closing. WLHS president Dr. Ken Fisher said, "Wisco is so grateful for your partnership and prayers. Every conference congregation agreed to participate in Gaining Ground and without that support it would have been impossible. God be praised for what he can do through his people!"

TWO New Sessions of Bible Information Classes starting Soon

Are you newer to Trinity Lutheran School and would like to learn what your son/daughter is learning in their Bible Classes? Come to a new session of Bible Information Class taught by Trinity’s pastors on Wednesday, January 29th at 7 pm in the church conference room or Sunday, February 2nd at 9:40 am in the 7th grade classroom. This free, fun class is designed to help you understand the basics of the Christian faith such as: how can we really trust the Bible? What are the 10 Commandments (and which ones still apply)? Why is Baptism and Holy Communion such a big deal in the Bible? What promise has Jesus NOT kept … yet? Ask questions or just listen. A free Bible is given to all participants and child care is available. For more info or to sign-up, contact Pastor Oelhafen 262-442-8568.

Evangelism

This year we find ourselves ahead of the game, with our chosen games being approved already. The Pittsburg package that we have chosen, comes with the need for even more volunteers this year. The Pittsburg package positions us with what I believe to be a win/win for Trinity. First, most of our games this year fall on either a Friday, Saturday or Sunday. Second, this package rewards us a successful completion bonus of $3000. With the minimum requirement of volunteers being greater this year, I believe that our earning potential will be greater this year also. Our group should be in bigger stands (hopefully no more Market places, or Taco stands).
