ALS Ice Bucket Challenge

Why Do We Do The Als Ice Bucket Challenge

Since 1985, ALS has been raising millions of dollars to help find the cure to the disease. Research projects have been started and scientists have from all around the world have been working to find out important information. Before the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, money was raised, but not much progress was made in finding the ways to help prevent ALS. The Ice Bucket Challenge has raised over 100 million dollars in one year. Do the challenge and nominate your friends so we can find a cure one day.

Who Started The Ice Bucket Challenge

The man who started the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge is Chris Kennedy, a golfer in Sarasota, Florida. He was nominated by his friend, but the challenge did not have anything to do with ALS, it was just about dumping cold water on your head. Kennedy decided to select ALS because one of his relatives was suffering from that disease. And then it went world wide. Video after video of the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge.
