Leader in Me

This month's habit for Leader in Me is Habit 7, Sharpen the Saw. Students will learn about taking care of their heart, mind, body and soul so that our lives are balanced. Family is a big part of feeling balance in our lives. This month our student leaders will be presenting the Monday Announcements.

Spirit wear

You still have time to purchase spirit wear. Next week we will have samples of the new school shirts in front of the school in the morning and after school. If you need to purchase spirit wear with cash, please stop by the office and we will order it for you. The online store is open until April 25, click the link to shop.

State Testing

This year the third, fourth and fifth grade students will once again take the State Test for academic achievement. The test will be about half as long as it normally is and will become a new baseline for measuring growth in the coming years. Scores will not count against students. Testing will take place in May.

In person students will take the test in class. Distance Learning students will come to school in the afternoon to be assessed. You will receive more information from your child's classroom teacher as we get closer to testing. If you have any questions, please contact Ms. Nathanson.
