A shift for high schools

The District announced yesterday that all high school students will shift to distance learning next week. This is due to updated guidance from the regional COVID-19 support team, and in light of the rising county cases and a steady increase of localized school spread. A new link at www.moundsviewschools.org/coronavirus shows a chart of the District's weekly COVID-19 cases and the number of quarantining staff and students. No individual school building has five or more positive cases at this time. If or when that occurs, that information will be included here.

Rock the School House

Please consider tuning in for the Mounds View Schools Education Foundation’s 9th Annual Rock the School House - At Home Edition program. On Saturday, November 14 you will have the chance to see unique and compelling entertainment featuring Mounds View District staff and alumni. It is “free” to attend and very timely, given that we're all looking for fun distractions these days. Click here to access the link to view the production beginning at 7 p.m. on November 14. Irondale High School's Week of Giving

Irondale's National Honor Society (NHS), DECA and Student Council are working together to hold a donation drive during the week of Nov. 9-13. They are collecting non-perishable food and snacks, toiletries, new clothing and gift cards for Irondale students in need. Monetary donations will also be accepted.


Contactless drop-off will take place Monday-Thursday (Nov. 9-12) from 7:30-8:30 a.m. and Friday, Nov. 13 from 9-11 a.m. Check out this flyer for more details.

Free meals available for curbside pickup

FREE meals are available for all students every Friday for curbside pickup from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at the following sites:



Each bag will contain five breakfasts and five lunches. Meals will be FREE to all those who are under age 18. Families and students will not need to provide a name or PIN number to pick up the meals. Students in the blended learning model will continue to have the opportunity to pick up free meals on the days they are in school.
