The Latest from the HSA...

Thanks to all who supported and participated in the Judie and Kellie McGinn Golf Outing last week. We are especially grateful to the McGinn family for enabling this event to benefit our school!

For additional fundraiser info, take a look at the details in our latest newsletter below. It includes Jumbo Jackpot details, as well as info on the Charleston Wrap Fundraiser underway now and the Winter Ball in December.

Check out some fall fun activities listed below as well - Halloween Hayrides at Linvilla and two new contests being held in lieu of Trunk or Treat this year...

As always, feel free to reach out to the HSA via email at hsa@holyfamilyaston.org with any questions or other feedback.

Enjoy your week!

It's That Time Again...Jumbo Jackpot Is Just Around the Corner!

One of our biggest fundraisers of the school year is almost upon us - Jumbo Jackpot tickets will soon be distributed! See the flyer for full details.

Help us earn money to support Holy Family while also giving you and your family the chance to win some big bucks! (FYI: Almost $2000 was awarded to last year's 1st place winner!)

Charleston Wrap Fundraiser

The Charleston Wrap mixed bag fundraiser is underway! Get a jump on Christmas shopping via this sale, running now through October 30th. Ordering in this period will provide guaranteed delivery in time for the holidays and will enable our families to take advantage of limited quantities.

For more information and instructions on how to register for the fundraiser (to ensure all purchases are linked to our school), please see this flyer.

Note: All orders are online and will be shipped directly to your home.

We appreciate all of your support and encourage you to spread the word to your friends and family, near and far! The more people who shop, the more money we can raise for Holy Family!

If you have any questions, please email HSA at hsa@holyfamilyaston.org.

Hayrides at Linvilla

There will be two first come/first serve hayride opportunities available this month at Linvilla Orchards for Holy Family families.

The first is on Wednesday, October 21, at 7:45pm (with line-up starting at 7:15pm). For this one, we would like to encourage our older students and their families to participate.

For the second hayride, on Thursday, October 22, at 6:30pm, we would like to gear this to our younger Holy Family students and their families. Line-up for that one will start at 6pm.

Tickets for both hayrides are $10 per person, with a 30 person maximum per ride. As we said, get your tickets fast! They are available in the "Purchase Additional Items" section of the Smart Tuition site. Hope you can join us!

Halloween Activities

As the fall's cooler weather starts to settle in and we begin to get ready for the holiday season, we would normally all be planning and looking forward to Holy Family's annual Trunk or Treat. Unfortunately, with many COVID restrictions still in place, we can't hold this event this year. Instead, we are bringing you two creative Halloween-themed alternatives!

Start brainstorming and getting your ideas together for our Virtual Halloween Bake-Off and our Virtual Great Pumpkin Carve!!

More details and a flyer are pending, but both contests will be kicking off soon - with entries to be judged by a panel of Holy Family judges (including Mr. Hughes!), showcased on social media, and considered for prizes in three categories: Most Creative, Scariest, and Best Overall. Winners will be announced on October 30th on the school's Facebook page.

Note: There will be a $5 entry fee donation to the school for each contest.

We hope you will join our school community in one or both of these festive fall activities!
