Encouragements
Who doesn't need words of encouragement right now?! You are all doing an amazing job of trying to keep things "normal" for kids. When we look back on this time, it will be one we will never forget. You are making a difference!
Condolences

Extended Closure Staff To-Dos
Be available Monday through Friday to families from 9:00-2:00, by phone or email.
1. Check in with all of your students. This can be through Google Classroom, Seesaw, or by making phone calls. The key is to keep in touch with students! If a student is not doing any work on iReady, Seesaw, Google Classroom, etc... and you are in contact with parents, great! If you cannot reach parents after multiple attempts, please let me know! I will check on them!
2. Plan for week 3 and beyond using the learning templates provided to you in an email on Thursday, April 2.
Add all that you can with electronic links. Anything you link or plan then must be included in a paper packet version for those families who wanted paper work sent home.
Week 3 AND GRADE CARDS - April 13-17 - to be ready in the office by Wednesday, April 8
Week 4 - April 20-24 - to be ready in the office by Wednesday, April 15
Week 5 - April 27-May 1 - to be ready in the office by Wednesday, April 22
Each packet will be mailed separately, if that is how the parents chose to get their work.
Your learning templates MUST be posted to your website. If you need help, please reach out to myself, Nikki, or Jen!
Pictures below for where to have materials ready. Please follow the mailing guidelines sent out earlier this week. Valerie has posted them in the workroom as well.
3. Plan conferences - what needs to be shared with parents. Contacting parents for conferences will happen during the week of April 13-16.
4. Check iReady minutes/lessons passed. If families have not gotten on at this point, is it a technology issue? Reshare usernames/passwords if they need and offer assistance.
5. Participate in a Zoom meeting with your grade level team, hosted by Nikki and Elizabeth. An invite will be shared out (this will be ONE time each week during the closure).
*** IEP Meetings will be scheduled. Teachers of those students will be required participants. Meetings will be conducted remotely, through Zoom, Google Hangout, etc...
*** If this list is updated/changed, I will let you know.***

Working in the Building
We need a plan for how you will get this work done while remaining distant from each other. I have attached a google sheet for you to sign-up for times to work on Monday and Tuesday. I have also included Saturday and Sunday, because I know that some of you will want to get it done:) Please sign up for shifts that you will be in the building. I have scheduled it so that no more than 7 people (including office staff) will be in the building at the same time. Please follow the guidelines so we can all stay safe:
1. Please use hand sanitizer before using any office or workroom equipment.
2. After using the copier or other equipment, please wipe the machine/ equipment off using the wipes provided next to the copier.
3. If you see someone else using the copier, please come back in a few minutes. Ask the person to text you when they are done.
4. Try to follow the CDC recommendation of 6 feet while in the building. Avoid contact. WHILE MANY OF US ARE HUGGERS, avoid the HUG:)
