Panorama Survey
Please see the letter below regarding the upcoming Social Emotional Learning survey your child will be taking between September 16-23. The intent of this survey is to improve students' overall experience. The survey lasts 20-30 minutes and grades 3-12 will be participating.
If a student does not feel they have enough information to answer a question, they will be able to skip the item altogether. The responses to these surveys will be completely confidential. We are partnering with a third-party vendor to support us in administering these surveys.
Grade 3-5 Survey Grade 6-8 Survey
Please notify us if you would like your child to opt out of taking the survey by September 11.
We thank you in advance for your thoughtful responses. If you have any questions about the survey administration, please do not hesitate to contact Cathy Ely, Prevention & Intervention Services Coordinator, at 614-548-1813.

mCORE Heart Screening
The mCORE Foundation to Provide Cardiac Screening Opportunity for
Ridgeview Junior High School
PREVENTATIVE HEART SCREENINGS
Here is information on an excellent opportunity that’s been made available to our students at Ridgeview Junior High School. We are partnering with mCORE™ — Mobile Cardiac Overview and Risk Evaluation — to screen our students for the cardiac conditions and abnormalities which may put them at risk of Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA). mCORE partners with high schools and athletic organizations to give convenient and dependable heart screenings to students.
SCA is the #1 Killer of Student Athletes Each Year, many of which could have been prevented with a simple examination like this.
The time requirement is approximately 10-12 minutes per student. Each student will be given an EKG and Echo screening and these tests typically cost more than $2000 in a clinical setting. You may use your Healthcare Spending Account or Flex Care Spending Account. All screenings are performed by a Registered Cardiac Sonographer and results are read by mCORE Medical Director and our pediatric cardiology team.
(Please contact mCORE should financial hardship preclude you from taking part.)
