This newsletter will provide you with information on how to start the school year successfully. We look forward to partnering with you.
Helpful how-to guides:
Students who are not using NVCS Chromebooks must log into their own Chromebooks with the NVCS Google Account. If they are using an Apple, Windows or Linux computer, they must have the Chrome web browser installed and must have a Chrome profile logged in with their student account in order to receive NVCS remote learning tools.
The Getting Started Page provides instructions and 'How-To' videos for doing this.

Monitoring of Students:
Student Accounts, and therefore student Chromebooks & Chrome Profiles, are monitored by NVCS. Any activity on these devices or profiles is accessible and traceable by NVCS. Other family members should be using their own devices or Chrome profiles, and students should only use these devices and profiles for NVCS educational purposes.
Students will also be invited to small group instruction time by their teacher for live support opportunities. Teachers are available for one-on-one instruction throughout the day. If you have questions or need support at any time please email your student's homeroom teacher.
Small group instruction, and one on one live support sessions will be utilized to meet the individual needs of students in content areas. If your student is struggling, or if you feel they need more of a challenge please communicate with your student's homeroom teacher.

These meals will consist of a hot entree and sides for lunch that day and a grab-and-go breakfast meal for the following day. The USDA is still in the process of determining if these meals will fall under the Summer Food Program (free for 0-18 year olds) or the National School Lunch Program (free, reduced, full pay).
