The Hoot Owl

Welcome to Oak Ridge! We are so excited to have you and your child at our school for the 2020-2021 school year. Let me take a minute and introduce you to a few key folks you will need to know.

Tami Eldridge

HI guys! We are so excited to have you at Oak Ridge. I have been at Oak Ridge for what seems like a lifetime. This is my 6th year as Principal and I served here at Assistant Principal for 11 years previously. Our mission at Oak Ridge is to create a "whole" child. We work not only on education, but we also want to enhance self-esteem, work ethic, and social skills. Our first priority is your child. We will do our best to keep them safe and happy while they are at Oak Ridge.

I have been married to Mr. Eldridge for 28 years. We have 2 boys who are 27 and 21. Our oldest is married to a precious young lady who is a first grade teacher at another elementary school in Conroe ISD. We have two dogs. When I am not a school, I enjoy spending time with my family, playing games (we are fiercely competitive), reading and serving in the community.

Howdy! I am Ms. Saly, the Assistant Principal at Oak Ridge Elementary. I have been fortunate to be the assistant principal at Oak Ridge Elementary for six years. I have been in Conroe ISD for 23 years as an educator and proud to be a CISD graduate. I love visiting with our students in the classroom and the halls of Oak Ridge.

I am a passionate Texas A&M University Graduate and love all things Aggie. On fall weekends, you can probably find me at Kyle field cheering on my favorite college team. In the spring, you will probably find me cheering on my nephew, who plays high school baseball, and my niece, who is on a travel softball team. Spending time with family and friends is a joy of mine.

We look forward to getting to know your Owl and the 2020-21 school year is going to be a great year for Oak Ridge Elementary.

Hello Oak Ridge families,

My name is Audra Sims. I am the registered nurse here at Oak Ridge Elementary. I have served with Conroe ISD for 18 years and have almost 30 years of nursing experience. It has been my pleasure to serve Oak Ridge Elementary for the last 13 years. Prior to school nursing I worked many years in a pediatric hospital and clinic setting and then transitioned to office nursing when my children were young. My husband and I have 2 children ages 27 and 24, and a wonderful son-in-law. All 3 are Oak Ridge Alumni. My goal as a team member is to provide academic success by promoting health and safety. Also, to provide assessment and treatment within the scope of professional nursing practice, communicate with parents, referrals to physicians, and provision or supervision of prescribed nursing care. If your child has any health concerns please email me at I will be happy to speak with you.
