Bobcats is a wildcat that lives mostly in Western United States but it can also live in other parts of the U.S. A bobcat is just like a domestic cat but they are much bigger. It can grow up to be 18 to 26 inches tall and can weigh up to 38 pounds. Bobcats have short bobbed tails about 6 in. long. Bobcats have a poor sense of smell. They rely on excellent vision and hearing. They are mostly active at night.

Bobcats are medium sized cats. Bobcats mainly eat hares and rabbits. Their is approximately 725,000 to 1,020,000 bobcats remaining in the wild. Bobcats capture their prey with one great leap. Bobcats are nocturnal so they are rarely seen. Bobcats are solitary animals.
