Absences and substitutes
Please make sure that if you are going to be out sick that you put in your absences ASAP. It is important for us to have an opportunity to get those jobs filled and the earlier they are put in, the more likely it is for the job to be picked up. The morning of an absence and the closer it is to your arrival time it is very difficult to have subs fill those positions.
Working with the Office of Planning, Innovation and Accountability, it was determined that the fill rate across the division was 93 percent when the duration needed was seven hours or more. However, the fill rate dropped to 85 percent when the duration was less than seven hours. It can be concluded that most substitute teachers seem to prefer to work full day positions. If you need to be absent, please take these things into consideration. Let Mrs. Lewis or Mrs. Metzger know if you need any assistance. Thank you!
School Counseling Program Evaluation
The year-three evaluation during 2018-2019 will assess the implementation and effectiveness of the program’s personal and social component. The evaluation will include an assessment of operational components, including programs and activities offered; student characteristics; progress made toward meeting the program’s goals and objectives related to students’ personal and social development; and stakeholders’ perceptions.
Your feedback is important and valued. Thank you for taking the time to complete this survey.
Meet and Greet 2019
As in the past, elementary school tables will be in the cafeteria. New this year will be tables for the Department of Teaching and Learning and the Spanish Immersion Program. These tables will be in the cafeteria lobby area.
