The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) invites you to participate in the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Student Trainee Webinar from 4:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time on September 25.
CBP has 44 vacancies for Customs and Border Protection Officer (CBPO) Student Trainees. CBPO Student Trainees support the mission of the Office of Field Operations to secure the border and prevent drug smuggling while enforcing immigration laws, protecting agriculture, and ensuring trade compliance. CBP Student Trainees assist CBP Officers and/or Agriculture Specialists with conveyances, cargo, passenger and baggage, interdiction activities, screening packages and scanning equipment. They also support the inspection of vessels and aircraft for restricted or prohibited commodities, by-products, contaminants and pests that are potentially dangerous to the nation’s agriculture.
The live webinar will provide an overview of the paid internship position, the application and hiring process, and there will be a Q&A session at the end.
