Staff Meeting - "Current Reality vs. Going Forward"
Below are the charts we worked on together at the Staff Meeting on Wednesday. We started with our "Current Reality" for our Mission, Values & Beliefs, and Norms and then moved onto "Going Forward." We will revisit the "Going Forward" charts in August and develop our Mission Statement to align with the mission of GCS. Once this is completed, we will move on to solidifying our Values and Beliefs along with Building Norms.
I appreciated the candid discussions and willingness to talk about where we are and where we need to go as a staff! We WILL get there together and this process WILL only make us stronger!
Thanks to Jan, Sarah, and Shelley for working with their kids on Market Day. It was a great experience for our entire building and the fun was enjoyed by all. The kids learned a lot about setting up a business and the economy! Way to go ladies!!
Lynne and Dawn for their hard work on the 5th grade promotion CD!
Eli, Gail, Karen, Teresa, Lynne, and Emily for helping to set up at the church and serve cake and lemonade to our 5th Graders and Parents on their "special" day!

Everyone that helped to park cars, prepare and serve parents, greet and help parents, provided coverage on the playground, and anything else that needed to be done for our Parent Picnic!! It takes a village and......it was evident that we all worked together to get er done!! KUDOS TO ALL!!!
Jan and Gary for making all of the arrangements for Field Day and then making adjusments based on predicted weather.
