Principal Post

A reminder to all of our PTO parents who plan on helping out at the Valentine's Day classroom parties tomorrow, make sure your name is on the volunteer list. Only six parent volunteers are allowed per classroom. Volunteers will check in at the lobby to get their name tag and sign in before heading to the classroom. We ask that siblings not attend classroom parties. Remember we encourage creative "HEART" healthy snacks for the students to enjoy during the classroom parties. We are so lucky to have such a supportive group of parents that are able to volunteer and make such events as our classroom parties so much fun and enjoyable for the students!

Students will not be in attendance on Monday, February 17th for Presidents Day, Friday, February 28th is Teacher Institute Day or Monday, March 2nd due to the Casimir Pulaski holiday.

The Illinois Readiness Assessment (IAR) testing is coming for grades 3-5 in both reading and math beginning April 13th. Staff is working very hard to prepare the students for these assessments. More information about the exams can be found at
