Donation!
Huntingburg, Ind. – On Tuesday, June 23, 2020 the City of Huntingburg Transit System received a donation from the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) of cloth masks to be used during the COVID-19 pandemic. Each mask is durable for up to 15 machine washes.
“We are grateful to the FTA and INDOT for the generous donation of face masks for our Transit drivers,” says Huntingburg Transit Department Director Jacque Lueken. “Our first priority is to keep our drivers and passengers safe during this uncertain time, and these masks will allow us to continue offering our services while protecting the health of those we serve.”
Amy Craft, INDOT Public Transit Section Project Manager, delivered the masks to Huntingburg City Hall.
For more information, please call Jacque Lueken, Transit Department Director, at (812) 683-2211.

COVID 19 UPDATE!
THE SAFETY OF TRANSIT STAFF AND OUR PASSENGERS ARE OF THE UTMOST PRIORITY.
TRANSIT STAFF HAVE INCREASED THE FREQUENCY OF CLEANING VEHICLES. VEHICLES WILL BE DISINFECTED WITH A FOCUS ON HIGH-TOUCH AREAS SUCH AS BUTTONS, HANDHOLDS, RAILS, ETC.
WHILE RIDING TRANSIT, FACE MASKS MUST BE WORN - PLEASE DO NOT TOUCH YOUR FACE. YOU SHOULD COVER YOUR COUGHS AND SNEEZES. PRACTICE SOCIAL DISTANCING.
THIS PRACTICE WILL CONTINUE FOR THE FORESEEABLE FUTURE AS PART OF THE TRANSIT DEPARTMENT’S ONGONG EFFORTS TO SUPPORT THE HEALTH AND SAFETY OF PASSENGERS, EMPLOYEES, AND THE COMMUNITY.
THANK YOU “ALL” FOR YOUR COOPERATION!
