A Little Glimpse:
Hello Teachers:
I am starting to go to grade level meetings as a way to engage in collaborative conversations about topics you may be encountering as you teach reading and writing. I want to be able to start what I'm going to be calling "Learning Cycles" with individual teachers based on areas of improvement (chosen by the teacher).
I want to be as up-front as possible about this cycle with no surprises. I am not an administrator, so I will not be evaluative in any way. Learning Cycles and feedback will be judgment-free, I will only provide objective feedback that is focused on whatever element you choose (ie. pacing, transitions, student engagement). You will notice lots of "I saw...." and "I noticed...." statements. We will have opportunities to reflect on delivery of instruction and student engagement together. We will pick areas for focusing on next steps.
