WHAT IS THE BLACK PLAGUE?

Disease that causes people to have fevers and then boils or strange swellings. Blood and pus seeped out of these strange swellings, which were followed by a lot of other unpleasant symptoms–fever, chills, vomiting, diarrhea, terrible aches and pains–and then, a little later, death.”The disease was also terrifyingly efficient. People who were perfectly healthy when they went to bed at night could be dead by morning. It was cured by increases in medicine and education.The most popular theory of how the plague ended is through the of quarantines.
