Spelling
Spelling Pattern: Consonant-y Endings (-vy, -by, -dy, -ty, -ry, -ny, -py, -sy, -my)
Examples: envy, bobby, muddy, witty, berry, penny, puppy, pansy, yummy
If the vowel is short and does not have an n or m after it, the consonant doubles.
