This week in second grade from room 300
May 9, 2016
Spelling Pattern: Consonant-y Endings (-vy, -by, -dy, -ty, -ry, -ny, -py, -sy, -my)
Examples: envy, bobby, muddy, witty, berry, penny, puppy, pansy, yummy
If the vowel is short and does not have an n or m after it, the consonant doubles.
I will send home the results from students end of year reading level tests as soon as we are all finished.
We are finishing up arrays this week. Students seem to be grasping this concept very well.
