NO HALL PASS LIST- The NO HALL PASS list is one that we are creating, with student and parent input. Families are agreeing to NOT provide their student a hall pass for a variety of reasons.

We continue to have parents wonder how their student is receiving hall passes, after the parent has requested for them not to have one.

If you are worried about the "push-back"- reiterate to the student that their parent has signed off on the request to limit hall passes.

We have CC parents on emails requesting their student not get hall passes, so know we are on the same page.

The No Hall Pass List- is not something we do without parent input. PLEASE review your list of students who are on the list.

On March 22, it is ALL HANDS ON DECK, teachers who have not been asked to proctor or help with SAT/PACT testing will be a chaperone for the Zoo field trip. We have additional volunteers joining the staff that include Parents, SEI, Latino Network, Coaches, CSA and other support staff.

Creating a school environment that is free from distractions for our student test takers will allow them to focus.

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE- SIT YOUR CLASS. We are asking all able adults to come to the assembly and sit with our students. We have one Rose Festival candidate this year and we want to make sure students are on their best behaviors during the assembly. PLEASE sit with your class and all others support as well

Reminders:

• As we approach the latter half of the year, admin would like to offer departments the opportunity to request additional/special one-time items or supplies. All departments are eligible for this request, including Student Support folks. Please look at the directions and meet as a department. These requests will be considered following our return from Spring Break. If you have any questions or need assistance determining cost or feasibility, please contact Melissa or Lopez prior to filling out the form.

We are seeing students who are needing to "buzz-in" walk-in after staff members leave the area. Please make sure you not allowing students to walk in the building behind you, without proper check-in.

Everyone has gotten the department calendar meetings for the end of April into the beginning of May. These department meetings will be 90 per departments. Each person who attends will be receiving their hourly rate.

• Review of AVID & its impact in individual departments
• Review of '23-'24 look ahead, which inform our August return

Current PAT and PFSP employees will receive their individual hourly rate of pay or the Summer School rate of pay, whichever is greater, if working the same type of assignment as their regular assignment.

Leap into 9th Grade will prepare students to excel in high school and get a head start in working with their new teachers and peers in the summer. The curriculum includes growth mindset, math concepts, career exploration, and high school readiness skills. Students will earn a 0.5 high school elective credit upon successful completion of the program.

• Mid term checks have been sent out to Beyond High School students for those currently enrolled in a PCC course. Please check in with your student to see how they are doing in their PCC class.

• If your student has textbooks from previous terms, please return them to the Middle College office.

• Students should be following their PCC schedule on flex days.

• PCC Middle College Office is open on Fridays, 9am-4pm during the registration period. Please stop by throughout the week to register for Spring Term. The last day to register for Spring term is March 24th!
