Section 504

Section 504 is a civil rights law that prohibits discrimination against individuals with disabilities. Section 504 ensures that a child with a disability has equal access to an education. The child may receive accommodations. For more information about Section 504, click on the box below.

Our 504 Coordinators are an essential part of the process of identifying students with physical and mental disabilities and making sure they receive the accommodations they need to succeed in school. Thanks to the coordinators at every campus for all they do to meet the needs of our 504 students.

What is Dyslexia?

Dyslexia is a specific learning disability in reading. Kids with dyslexia have trouble reading accurately and fluently. They may also have trouble with reading comprehension, spelling and writing. The short video overview below can answer many of your basic questions.

How Do I Know if it's Dyslexia?

Students who exhibit characteristics of dyslexia may have both difficulties with reading and strengths in other areas. While the characteristics listed below are for 2nd -12 grade, they may also be seen in people of all ages.
