Month of July

Principal's Corner

I hope everyone is having a wonderful summer and had a great 4th of July weekend!

Summer has been a busy one at HRS this year with Summer Learning Camp and Stem Camp taking place on campus over a 5 week period. 150 students participated in the camps here at HRS and over 15 teachers worked our camps. We appreciate their hard work. Thank you also to our school secretary, bookkeeper, assistant principals, custodians, bus drivers, and cafeteria workers for making the summer camps a success.

We are now officially 4 weeks away from the 2021-22 school year with the first day of school on Monday, August 2nd. It will be a half day for students and the first full day for students will be Tuesday, August 3rd. We are hoping and praying for school to get close to as normal as possible but may still be under some CDC guidelines. We will share those guidelines with you when we get closer to the start of the school year.

We will have an open house here at HRS on Thursday, July 29th beginning at 5pm. We will have more details as we get closer to the start of the school year.

Kindergarten parents will be getting letters before school begins to explain you child's phase in schedule at the beginning of school. Please be patient as we are now working on student schedules and teachers do not have access yet to who will be in their class. Be looking for the letters the last week of July.

The student supply list is below.

I hope everyone enjoys the month of July and rest and relax. We will keep you posted as we get closer to August 2nd.
