Registration and Re-Enrollment for 2022-23

Families whose accounts are in good standing are now able to register and enroll current Eagles for the coming school year. Please complete registration by following the directions in the email sent out to qualifying families on Thursday. Take advantage of the early bird registration fee by completing registration by February 12th (fee withdraws on May 5th). If you have financial holds to clear, please contact Mrs. Metz - tuitiondirector@steugeneschool.org.


New student application window is OPEN! Siblings of current students should apply at this time to receive preference in the review process. ALL new applications must be completed and submitted online with a $25 application fee. We will begin reviewing applications for new students in late February, and send notification upon acceptance.


If you have friends and family who may be interested in sending their students to St. Eugene, tell them what you love about our school! They may visit our Admissions page and fill out an application or inquiry to schedule a tour with our Eagle Ambassador. Our Open House is Sunday, February 6th. Details at www.steugeneschool.org/openhouse. Don’t forget that if you successfully refer a new family, you may be eligible for a tuition credit. Details coming soon.

Last Call to Fill Out Soccer Interest Survey

Please fill out this form if your student is interested in playing CGSAA soccer this spring. This is NOT registration to play.


CGSAA Soccer is for students in Kindergarten through 8th grade. Volunteer coaches work with teams to create a practice schedule (meeting 1-2 times per week) with games on Saturday or Sunday at local fields. Practices generally start in mid-March with games in April and May.

Calling all 3rd-5th grade girls!

Girls on the Run is an after-school program like no other! We meet twice per week for 10 weeks. Girls will have fun, make friends, increase their physical activity levels, and learn important life skills. Trained and caring coaches lead girls through interactive lessons and running activities. The season ends with a celebratory, noncompetitive 5k event on May 7, 2022. This program is for girls in grade 3rd-5th. Practices will be on Tuesday 2:15-3:30, and Thursday 3:15-4:30 beginning on February 15th. Learn more and register at http://www.gotrcentralok.org/ or contact Neile LoPorto at nloportro@hotmail.com.

CCYO Baseball

The Celtic Catholic Youth Organization, CCYO, baseball family would like to invite all 6th, 7th, and 8th grade boys to join the CCYO junior high baseball program. The CCYO baseball program has been in existence for 13 years now. The kickoff meeting for the 2022 CCYO baseball will be held Saturday, January 29th, 9:30 a.m. at the Bishop McGuinness baseball facility. Like CCYO football, CCYO baseball is for serious players to get prepared for high school baseball. Players need to be currently in attendance at one of the Catholic feeder schools. Players and Parents need to attend the meeting which should last about one hour. Please bring two checks with you, each for $150. One will be for the uniform deposit and the other for registration fees. The uniform check will be returned to you when the player’s uniform is returned. Practice will begin the week of January 31st. Seeking Track Coordinator

The CSSE Athletic Commission is looking for a volunteer Track Coordinator. Duties will include helping organize our school track meet as well as coordinating students who opt to participate in the CGSAA meet this spring, please contact CSSE Athletic Director Dave Frame if you are interested. This will count as Time & Talent hours.

Join the Gala Committee!

Help us fund needs and projects of our school & parish by dedicating a few hours each month to our Gala Planning Committee! We need volunteers that want to have fun and help plan our annual school and parish spring gala! Committee members will fulfill a variety of roles including decorating, helping create/coordinate class baskets for auction, marketing, securing sponsorships, acquiring auction items, helping with ticket sales, and more. More Time & Talent Opportunities

Every family needs to be thinking about Time & Talent hours. Here are some opportunities for a an easy couple of hours.


We will have a clean up day before Catholic Schools Week. Families are encouraged to join us on Saturday morning, Jan. 29th at 9am to clean up the area around the school. We want to look our best for Catholic Schools Week and Open House! Please RSVP so we know how many people to expect. You may also donate cold tolerant items to freshen up the planters in front of the school. Time and Talent hours available!


Mrs. Hattaway needs 1-2 volunteers to help with a project to be completed next week ahead of Catholic Schools Week. Email media@steugeneschool.org for details. Should not take more than an hour or two - possible to take materials and do at home.

Catholic Schools Week is Coming Up!

Catholic Schools Week is coming up beginning Sunday, Jan. 30th! This annual week of celebration gives us a chance to focus on the value Catholic education provides to young people and its contributions to our church, our communities and our nation. Celebrate with us in the following ways, and look for details to come on our weeklong service project!

Due to the current COVID-19 spike, we are postponing the Eagle Expo to later this spring.

Are You Interested in Being a Classroom Sub?

We are always looking for classroom subs. If you are interested in applying to join our list of on call substitutes, please let Mrs. Goldsworthy know. There have been very few school days this year when we have not needed someone to fill in somewhere! Must have current Safe Environment and follow our COVID protocol.

Last Few Days! Freezer Meal Fundraiser - We have a great fundraiser through the month of January. You can purchase delicious meal starter kits from a local source - Easy Freezy Freezer Meals on N. Penn! When you place an order through the fundraiser page, choose "St. Eugene Catholic School PTO" as your shipping option. This will ensure that we can keep track of all the money WE make! That drop down menu shows up right before the payment page. Unfortunately everything has to be shipped and can't be picked up at the store. One less errand for us to run. Win/Win tp save yourself time and help earn our school some money!

Eagle Excellence

Congratulations go out to our 7th grade Academic Bowl team, who placed second in the Firebird Tournament this past week. This concludes their season as well as the 8th grade team’s season. We are proud of you all!


A BIG pat on the back to families, faculty, staff, and subs for pitching in and dealing with this current COVID spike with grace. Mutual respect and support are the fuel that keeps us all going! Thank you!

She is going through chemo. | Please pray for the healing of Sasha, cousin to Mark Roby and granddaughter to Mrs. Neal. | Please pray for the healing of Dub Wheeler, grandfather or Gehrig and Gabby. He has numerous medical issues, and needs the extra prayers. | Pray for those in our community who are quarantined, ill, or struggling to recover from COVID-19 | Pray for those who have perished from COVID-19 and for their families who are grieving the loss of these loved ones. | Pray for our staff, students, and their families. May God grant us all patience and wisdom. Help us put our faith first, and give grace to all.

These are great resources to help you learn more about our Catholic faith and develop a deeper relationship with God. Most of these podcasts last only a few minutes, and could be completed while you are sitting in the carpool line!
