Mark Twain's Life.
Childhood
On Nov. 30, 1835 in the town of Florida MO Samuel Longhorn Clemens was born. His parents were John Marshall and Jane Lampton Clemens and he had five older siblings. When he was born he had poor health. Because of this he couldn't go to school or play outside with the other kids until he was nine. When he was four his family moved to Hannibal MO, and when he was twelve his father died of pneumonia.
Adult Life
Until he was thirteen he attended a private school in MO. At the age of thirteen he left Hannibal for a job as a printer in St. Louise. He became a licensed river pilot in 1858, and during the civil war was a newspaper reporter. In 1870 he married Olivia Langdon. He had four children, one died as a baby, two died in their twenties, and one lived to be eighty-eight, her name was Clara. He died on April 21, 1910.
Achievments
Mark Twain achieved many things during his life. He wrote the books "Eve's Diary", "The Adventures Of Huckleberry Finn", and "The Gilded Age". He also wrote the books "The Adventures Of Tom Sawyer" and "Tramp Abroad". He left school at the age of thirteen to become a printer.These are the achievements of Mark Twain.
