Weekly Updates/ Reminders:
- KCPS curriculum should begin this week, if you have not already. It is mandatory that everyone is teaching the identified KCPS curriculum and that grade levels are working together in their PLC's to ensure they have like schedules and that daily objectives math one another and align to the Missouri Learning Standards.
- ACTION: Please ensure that you are posting your daily attendance outside of your classroom door on your attendance frame. This should be a student job within your classroom, we want them to take ownership and see the importance of attendance.
- Attendance phone calls for absent students made and logged in the comments section of your attendance roster.
- Standards and objectives should be posted and highly visible to students and guests. When posting your daily learning objectives, please also make sure that the standards you are writing the objectives from are also posted. This is a non-negotiable and will be expected.
- Achievement Series assessments should be completed and graded. Please let us know immediately if you have not done this.
- iReady assessments must be finished and completed this week. EVERY student should be taking all required exams. Please ensure that you are setting up a conducive classroom testing environment up and that students understand the importance of doing their best on these assessments.
