A Message From Principal Choquette 9/28/18
Good afternoon I hope you all had a nice week. I saw many of you at the School Local Carnival last weekend, what a great turnout and what a great way to show support for our public schools! It was nice to see some of our former students volunteering and working at the various stations as well. They grow up so fast.
Last night was our last family dinner of the year. Thank you so much to our PTO for hosting and providing the food and childcare. We appreciate all that you do for our school.
On November 7th we are having an event that has never been done before in the NPS. We are having a vision and action forum to help make our school an ideal model school for all. However, this work can not be done without you! You have all received a letter explaining the event with a link to a survey (https://www.research.net/r/BridgeForum). The survey is confidential and will provide us with information around major themes that emerge. Surveys should be completed and returned to school no later than Wednesday, October 10th. Please fill it out and come join us for food and collaboration. There will be childcare, supervised play, and a movie for the children. The event will be held on November 7 from 5:00-7:30 pm.
The food service department has informed us that there will be no salads on Mondays anymore due to the delivery time of produce.
Also, please remember to call the main office if your child is going to be absent from school. If your child is not in school we will call you if we haven't heard from you.
Thank you and have a wonderful weekend!
