Wellness Update....
Here is a short synopsis of the newest edition of our COVID policy.
- Student is positive – Day 0 is the day the student tests positive (even if asymptomatic) or displays symptoms and Day 1 is the first full day of COVID.
- Parent/Student chooses not to test for early release: The student should isolate at home for 10 days.
- Testing options to return to school on day 8:
- 2 negative antigen tests (1st negative test on day 6, 2nd negative antigen test on day 8 and return to school)
- Negative PCR collected on day 6 and return to school on day 8
- School Exposure – Parents will be notified that there has been a positive case of COVID in the student’s class. No masking or quarantine is necessary, but parents should monitor their child for symptoms and keep them home and test for COVID if symptoms occur.
- Positive Case of COVID in the student’s house, but student is not ill: Student may still come to school, but must try to isolate from the person in the household who is positive and must mask at school for 5 days after the last contact with the positive family member. Day 0 would be the last day the student had contact with the positive family member and Day 1 would be the following day. Please note that the count will begin again if the student is re-exposed.

September 23rd: School WILL be in session as normal
September 30th: No School due to Parent Teacher Conferences
October 13-14th: No School-Fall Break

Pets: The Family Handbook states on page 15: "Pets are not allowed on school property during school hours and school sponsored activities, such as student arrival, dismissal and sports practice". If you need to bring your pet with you for drop-off/pickup, please leave them in your vehicle. Though they are adorable, they are a distraction to school safety.

2022-23 School T-Shirt: If you are still in need of a red t-shirt, please contact the office.
Marian House System
September challenge is 'being helpful'. Students are awarded points for their house when they are extra helpful to others. Points are updated on the house board outside of 2nd grade.
Houses are also responsible for giving back in the form of wiping tables down after their lunch hour. Houses are assigned a week at a time.
