Chromebook Insurance (2nd-6th) & iPad Updates (4K-1st)
It has come to our attention that some families who purchased the Chromebook insurance for this year were inadvertently refunded the fee. If you wish to have this added back to your account, or did not initially take the insurance and you would like it added, please fill out this form. The insurance is $25 and covers accidental damage. More details can be found at www.oasd.org/chromebooks. Please contact our helpdesk at 262-560-2126 or helpdesk@oasd.org with any questions. We apologize for any inconvenience and confusion this may have caused.
4K, 5K, and 1st grade families: Apple released iOS 14.4 and we are asking for your help to update the iPad you are using. At your earliest convenience, please complete the steps listed here. We'd advise updating outside of the school day, as it does take some time to process. If you need any assistance with this or other iPad issues, see our website and/or contact our helpdesk at 262-560-2126 or helpdesk@oasd.org.

Staff Spotlight!
Meet Ms. Traut!
Favorites Parts of Teaching in the OVLC:
My absolute favorite part of teaching in the OVLC is being able to hear daily stories from my students about the exciting happenings in their life. I really love the connections the students have made not just with me, but also with each other. This has been a huge achievement given our virtual setting. I am also extremely proud of all of the accomplishments my students have made in the two trimesters I have had with them so far, and I am looking forward to seeing them continue to grow in our last trimester together!
About Ms. Traut’s Teaching Experience: Before virtually teaching my amazing group of third graders...
- I taught 6-8 grade math for three years at a parochial school.
- I taught K4 & K5 in the inner city of Milwaukee for five years.
- I was a kindergarten through eight grade substitute teacher just south of Madison for two years.
A Bit More About Ms. Traut: In addition to teaching I really love learning, which is why I have such a wide range of hobbies. In my extra time I am currently learning how to fly and build model airplanes, but I also enjoy scuba diving, jet skiing, aviation, and riding my motorcycle.
Some of Ms. Traut’s Favorites: These are a few of my favorite things :)
- An organized classroom/desk.
- Frozen custard!!
- I love to fill my classroom with inspirational quotes to motivate my students.
- AMAZON!!
- Reading non-fiction books.
Meet Mrs. Wochele!

About Mrs. Wochele’s Teaching Experience: I have taught for over 20 years, every grade from Kindergarten to 6th, except 2nd!! I have a master's degree in technology, and love to stay current with it.
A Bit More About Mrs. Wochele: I have 2 awesome daughters at OHS, one is a junior and one is a freshman. We just moved this year to a new home, with our 3 dogs. We all love to travel, hike, read, and visit coffee shops!
Some of Mrs. Wochele’s Favorites:

The Staff is amazing and so helpful. It is such a cohesive team.
Getting to know the students and families has been great
Increasing my technology game=+)!
About Mrs. Andersen’s Teaching Experience: I have taught 4k and 5k for about 12 years in Michigan and Wisconsin.
A Bit More About Mrs. Andersen’s: I have been married to my husband, Ted for 27 years. We reside in Delafield. We have two children...Grant just graduated from DePaul University and my daughter Lydia is a junior at St Norbert College. We recently rescued a "Morkie" named Enzo from Texas. He has been a great addition to our family and has made some cameos on my zoom classes=+). I enjoy kayaking, snowshoeing, crocheting and reading.
Some of Mrs. Andersen’s Favorites: Some of my favorite things include going out for dinner at local restaurants, drinking coffee, retail therapy at Marshalls and Home Goods, the color pink and binge watching shows on Netflix.
