The MS Scoop

January 2020

Dear Eagle Families,

We hope you had a wonderful holiday break and were able to enjoy some time and traditions with your family. As we move into the new year we’re looking forward to new opportunities and the ability to improve upon the success we’ve found throughout the many challenges we’ve overcome over the past year. Having a positive mindset and developing resiliency has been crucial to persevere during these challenges.

As parents ourselves we understand how challenging it can be to balance work, family, and managing your child’s educational needs in ways that we haven’t had to in the past. To help in this process we’ve included a link to a video which highlights how toxic stress impacts us and strategies on how to manage it. Additionally, we’ve included the link to our school and community resources that are available to everyone as needed.

We hope you enjoy this newsletter and look forward to our continued collaboration to ensure high levels of learning and social-emotional well being for our students.

In partnership,

Scott Manne & Wendi Snyder

Many of our students (and staff) came into school on Friday, January 8th, all decked out in Bills attire. Their goal? Showing their pride & offering support to our home NFL team for last Saturday's playoff game. We are happy to report - MISSION ACCOMPLISHED! We have no doubt that the the hallways will be filled with sea of red and blue Bills attire today as well.
