PPS 109 Event - 10/25
We are excited this school year to return to offering in-person parent/guardian networking and educational opportunities for our community in collaboration with PPS109.
PPS109 is a partnership of DPS 109 administrators, teachers and parents/guardians who are dedicated to providing support to families of children with a wide range of needs. Our first event of the ‘22-’23 school year will be An Overview of District 109 Student Services. This event will take place on Tuesday, Oct. 25 at 6 pm at the District Office.
We are also asking for your help! Please click here to help us prioritize the next community event that will be offered during this school year. There is also an option on the form to let us know if you are interested in participating in PPS109 parent/guardian networking opportunities.
SHIELD Take Home Testing Continues
If your family opted in prior to August 11th, expect your child to bring home testing supplies today along with information on what to do. Those that opted in after our initial deadline will begin testing next month. This week we will collect all samples on Tuesday due to the hiliday.
Is Your Child Symptomatic for COVID? (3rd posting)
As a reminder; if your child is presenting with COVID-19 symptoms, we will be continuing to accept home test results via our website. Here is the link to submit your child’s home test results (please select your child’s school from the drop down menu). If you have any questions or concerns about your ability to access home tests during the school year please reach out to Joanna Ford at email@example.com.
AFTER SCHOOL ENRICHMENT-Begins on Tuesday
Enrichment classes begin on Tuesday. Please let your child know the plan if they are staying for an enrichment class.
I encourage parents to check out the Wilmot PTO website. In the coming weeks, you will find a great deal of information about Wilmot and the many great activities sponsored by the PTO.
- All families are encouraged to sign up for Wilmot PTO membership. Membership can be purchased on the PTO website, www.wilmotpto.org
With your membership you will receive access to 2 online directory apps If you already have the apps, you DO NOT have to download them again. You just need to enter a new registration key to reactivate it for the year. Follow these directions to get multiple directories on one app.
