Origami Club
Come make origami with us at Origami Club! What is Origami? It is the art of folding paper into different shapes and figures. Each month, we will have mothers from Japan show us how to fold many different things--hearts, flowers, birds, frogs, hats, and much more. Walk by Mrs. Parker's room to see the bulletin board full of amazing origami, and see what we will fold at our meetings! 5.00 Supply fee. 15 people max.

Chess Club
If you already know how to play chess, or if want to learn how to play, you may want to consider joining the OGES Chess Club. Chess is a fascinating game of quiet concentration, which allows students to develop the following: focus, problem solving skills, strategic planning, offensive and defensive maneuvering, patience, respect and sportsmanship, as well as many other skills and traits. Club members will learn and practice the game through friendly games and competitions.
Good conduct and appropriate behavior are also mandatory at all times during Chess Club meetings, and the Fayette County Student Code of Conduct will be strictly enforced. Any student that demonstrates inappropriate conduct and/or irresponsible behavior will be removed from the Chess Club.
