Congratulations to Whitman (1st), Cali (2nd) and Griselda (2)for completing their Bee Awesome Challenge for February! We have 18 more days for everyone to complete the challenge in PreK-2nd and earn their heart pencil. If you do not have your sheet, please have your child get another one from their teacher.

We had our last Ski PE on Tuesday. We will resume our early release days on Tuesday, February 14th.

Reminder: Friday, February 17th is a half day of school and we do not have school on Monday, February 20th in honor of President's Day.

Volunteers Needed for the TES Bookfair

Who: Telluride Elementary School students and their families.

What: TES Book Fair

Where: TES 4th Floor, hallway outside the library

When: February 22, 23, and Feb 27th- March 1st

How: We can’t have a book Fair without the generous support of parent volunteers!

Please sign up here to volunteer.

Why: To promote and encourage literacy and love for books! This is the only fundraiser for our school Library. Funds made from the book fair help us purchase new books for our library. This is also an excellent opportunity for families to build their home libraries to develop and increase reading skills, and make reading a family event at home.

Manners Matter and Kindness Counts

On Thursday, our 1st graders practiced their etiquette while experiencing fine dining in their classroom. This unit ties in to the history unit that includes family history. Thank you to our first grade families for sharing your food traditions with your child's classmates and teachers. Check out the pictures below!
