Winter Concert A Terrific Success!

Thanks to all who attended Tuesday night's Winter Concert featuring our Band, Orchestra, and Chorus. As always we appreciate your support in helping our students achieve their best. Special thanks for Mrs. Gribbin and Mrs. Jones whose artistry and musicianship was clearly apparent in yesterday's performance. We look forward to our next concert in the Spring.

RACE FOR EDUCATION - WE DID IT!!

Thanks to your hard work and generous donations we exceeded our goal!

We did it! So far we have raised just over $26,400!!! More donations are coming in. We look forward to continuing the programs for the students and adding to their everyday creative play. If you have not had a chance to donate, you can still go to the race website. See this page for details. Donations accepted through the new year.

We can not wait to see Mr. Purnell ride around school on a tricycle giving high-fives to students for a job well done!

Just Say No Club

Many fifth grade students met as a Just Say No Club on Wednesday. For the initial half on the hour, SASD Officer Gower spoke about the dangers of drugs and tobacco. He also shared some of the punitive consequences imposed on high school students that break the rules. In the later half, students engaged in a community service project making holiday ornaments for an assisted living facility. Enjoy a few highlights of JSN below:
