At FFC, we want our students to exhibit Falcon Pride by practicing the characteristics of patience, respect, integrity, determination, and excellence. Learning and practicing these characteristics will help them be successful throughout life.
Silver and Blue Remote Learning
Clever Family Portal
Florence City Schools is using Clever to help students access online learning resources from school as well as from home. This will better support students and parents for remote learning by providing access to apps and websites from any device they have.
Create your account now to get access to:
- Tools to help log your child in from any device
- Access to your early learner's Clever badge to save or print (Grades K-2)
- Automatic login using Clever's Chrome extension
- Important resources from the district
Only parents and contacts who are designated in INOW to receive mailings (and therefore automated calls and emails) about the student will receive an invitation to their registered email address. Parents should have received an email on August 13 for each individual student to whom you are linked in our systems. Your account will be connected with your child’s, and you will also get access to relevant resources curated by the Clever team and your child's school. Please check your spam folder if you did not see the email.
Pro tip: Bookmark family.clever.com for easy logins in the future.

Attendance Matters Beyond the Classroom
This year, students are receiving instruction through a variety of methods including traditional school (Grades K-6), Silver & Blue Remote Learning (Grades 7-12), and FCS Virtual School (Grades K-12) to name a few. However, all types of instructional models and schedules rely on good communication, student engagement, and active participation for students to be successful. This includes them coming to school on their assigned days and also engaging through Canvas on their Remote Learning Days.
Ask you student about their learning and ensure they are doing their part each and every day!

FCS Child Nutrition Program
Due to Covid-19 and available waivers, Florence City Schools now qualifies to participate in the Community Eligibility Program (CEP) for all grades, which would allow ALL FCS students to receive a free breakfast and lunch. A la carte items may still be purchased separately.
FCS’ cafeterias will be utilizing MySchoolBucks for money deposits, which will only be needed for a la carte items. They will not be accepting cash at the register. This will reduce the amount of items passed between the CNP staff and students.
Online payments with MySchoolBucks are now available. Prepay your student's meal account online, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. It is simple, fast and secure.
