April 22nd - Admin Newsletter
Parents and Guardians,
Main Building Morning Drop-off - Parents - for safety reasons, please do NOT allow your child to exit the car unless you see a BLES staff member on duty out front. A staff member will be outside at 7:15 each morning. Students are starting to gather at the front door at 7:05 am and we do not have anyone outside to monitor them at that time.
If you have a child that will turn 4 years old by September 1st, call Mrs. Silva at 843-706-8565 to make an appointment to have him/her screened for Pre-k for next school year (2022-2023).
We have few spots available for the upcoming screening on March 29th.
Remember registration right now is for NEW students for Kindergarten/Prek for the 2022/2023 school year. Registration for returning students for 2022-2023 school year is going to start July 2022. More information coming soon!

Flower Donations needed please
Bluffton Elementary was selected to participate in the 2021-22 School Garden & Education Assistance Program. The program, created in 2018, is administered by Clemson Extension’s School Gardening for South Carolina Educators. The goal of the program is to introduce children to hands-on agriculture and nutrition education. Receiving this grant will enable us to receive a brand new set of garden beds with all materials as well as support from local experts (and from Clemson) for the first year. BUT we need some flowers to utilize as pollinators for our "crops."
We could use any of the flowers or even the seeds for the flowers:
Aster
Spiderwort
Bee balm
Coneflower
Bluestar
Black Eyed Susan
Butterflyweed (milkweed)
Phlox
Crested Iris
Scarlet Sage
Echinacea
