Northwood News October 17-21
Be Smart. Be Kind. Be United. Be a Unicorn.
Thank you for Choosing Northwood!
Dear Northwood Community,
It's good to back! For those of you who may not know, I have been out for a little over a week. I want to thank Dr. Mary Longloy, who is a retired North East ISD principal for filling in for me during my absence. She and Mrs. Lee took great care of you all, I know. It is wonderful to see all of your children and their smiling faces today!
As we draw closer to the end of October I want to be sure to draw your attention to two important and fun events coming up next week. Red Ribbon week takes place each year at the end of October with the miss of helping to keep kids drug-free. This year's theme is "Celebrate Life. Live Drug Free." We will have special dress up days each day to go with the theme. See below in the upcoming events section for the details.
Also next week is our Literary Pumpkin Display in the library. This is one of our favorite events. See below for more information.
Please be sure to read all the way to the end of the newsletter to find out about everything that is going on at Northwood and for important reminders.
Have a great week and thank you for your support!
Mrs. Harper

Absences for illness and medical appointments will be excused with a written note. | Pick-Up ProceduresEveryone picking up a student from school at dismissal is required to present an official Northwood Dismissal Tag.
