Communication Center Representative

Job Description
The incumbent will answer and greet all incoming external and in-house calls from patients, providers, physician’s, insurance carriers, facilities, and other individuals inquiring about Graybill Medical Group with a pleasant tone of voice. Must be able to handle multiple phone lines, be responsive to callers needs, route telephone calls to appropriate parties, take and distribute messages, collect patient demographic and insurance information, schedule/reschedule/confirm appointments, page over head when requested, stay calm handling emergency situations and represent the company in a professional manner.
Skills / Requirements
1yr medical office/scheduling experience required. Incumbent must have strong customer service and organization skills, a clear speaking voice, a high comfort level with multi-tasking and handling a multi-line phone. Must be computer literate, have strong written and verbal skills, and knowledge of medical terminology. Must be a team player and have the ability to function in a high stress environment. Previous EMR/PBX experience helpful. Bilingual English/Spanish highly preferred.
