Counselor Notes

All classroom teachers: We have an opportunity to provide free uniforms for our economically disadvantaged students. We have 512 students who qualify. We are making this opportunity open to those students. We will be sending home flyers and order forms to eligible students. The form is due by Friday, February 12th.

Please be advised: you will be given a list of those students who DO NOT qualify, and you will NOT put a form in those students’ folder. We have a deadline and this is a very large project.

Teachers, I only need you to do the following:

  • distribute the flyers to the qualifying students
  • tell the students, “Hey free uniform—have mom fill this out.
  • collect the order forms and put them in my box, each day as you collect them. If you receive order forms after the deadline, put them in my box anyway. They will receive the uniforms in late March or April, so they may want to order a size larger for next year. Thank you for our help in this endeavor.

  • 5th grade Teachers: Please have your students write thank you notes the ELITE team of the University of North Texas, thanking them for the tour! I will give you a large envelope to collect them in. Thank you!
  • 3rd and 4th grades will be touring the University of Texas at Dallas on April 14th and 15th, respectively. We look forward to another awesome trip!
